Just wondering how many people have rims which are larger than 18"s? I've seen pix of show cars but it doesn't seem very practical..

I have 18" JCW R118 and love them... Dont see any bad side to it besides of course being careful about potholes and stuff

18s are pretty practical. 19s, dont leave you much rubber at all...so they would probably end up a waste of cash with the likelyhood of bending one. 20s...forget it

Yeah, I've got 18s as well (JCW). I like them, but was wondering if anyone ventured into the 19" arena.

Don't think I worded it properly, but I agree that 18s are practical.. anything over seems like a bit much..

IMHO 18s look pretty darn good on a MINI but I cant get over the weight and cost in tires. Ill stick with my 17"s.

In a T-pain song he wraps about a "MINI coop sittin on dubs"

I have 18's also. In my opinion 18's are about as big as you want to go, because the wheels would look too big for the MINI.

I dropped down to 16s, light, cheap, and I think the car handles a little better. Doesn't look very bling, but I love it.

Bartender (Feat. Akon) is the song.
