I'm trying. I'm working on the wheelgap right now, about $2500 worth. I'd really like to do new brakes all around before I put the wheels on but I have a feeling once I drop it I'm gonna paint my calipers and get them wheels on. Brakes are gonna be over 3K.

OK well i just finished blacking out my beltline, and i just put on the cooper side scuttles. dont mind the badge right below there. that doesnt really exist ha. I just wanted to see what it looked like. and i didnt like it as much as i thought so i put it on the front grill.
Also i have the black out fog light surround from voltage.

I cant wait to get my headlight rings, door handles, and fuel door.

OH, and dont pay any attention to the winter wheels...

Vinyl-wrapped blacked-out front grille, belt-line, mirror caps and black-painted blue anodized tow hook. Smoked windows, smoked turn-signal repeaters and and trim-mounted side-marker lights. Black anodized stubby antenna. Carbon fiber front splitter. Tail lights blacked out with the tail light film (not shown).

Still pondering blacking out the headlamp rings and door handles (I'd use the Aesthetic Creations covers if I did that).

Does this count? I bought a blacked out seatbelt purse for my gf's bday, and I even modded it with a couple hood emblems, lol. She doesn't quite have the enthusiasm I do when it comes to MINIs, but she seemed to like the purse!

As for the MINI... I bought some tinted lamin x for the fogs and signals...I just have to make myself go outside and pull the bumper off...
here is how the MINI sits now under the car port... I finally got an apt. with a waterhose too... I'm pretty excited about it. you can definitely see the fogs and front signals can use a bit of blackening.

oh.. I did lamin-x my LED tails...I guess its not a black-out...more of a red-out...but either way, bye bye chrome!

I used vinyl for all of the blackout on my car - except the R53 badge. I like vinyl because it doesn't chip like paint, and I always have the option of removing it. I had a local guy who vinyls police cars do all my work. But a lot of people order from lylesvinylstyles.net.

For the belt-line around the windows, you can get the precut 3M stuff from Outmotoring.com. It works really well and its nice how you don't have to do all the cutting.

For my R53 badge, I used Krylon Fusion for plastic - Flat Black. I scuffed off all the chrome plastic coating and put about two coats of the black on. This stuff is great, I highly recommend it. It went on so smoothly and really sticks to the plastic.

Everything I used so far as been on the car for 9 months and survived outside in a hot, humid summer and ice storms through the winter.

i think you mean the aero grill. its a factory part on cars that come with the aero body kit. you can get them from your dealer or www.outmotoring.com has them as well

Alright, not quite a blackout, more of color matched approach. Added beltline blackout and painted the side vents body color this week. Now I just have the door handles and gas cap left.

So to date, window tint, aero grill, joey mod, body colored headlight rings, ruby red tails, beltline blackout, black powder coated rally lights, and body colored side vents.

Only recently got my Mini

So far Ive blacked out the headlight rings, emblems, boot handle, and got new tails. When I stop being lazy I'll go ahead and do the door handles.

Aero grill and beltline blackout are coming from outmotoring on monday.

Gonna joey mod the headlights in hyper blue too I think.
