Has any one changed the color of their door panels? Specifically the oval inset portion behind the y shaped bars. I'd like to either dye the material, vinyl or some synthetic leather I assume, or recover it. I saw one done with velvet but I'd like to simply change the color. Suggestions or examples?

 

There are companies that can dye any interior to whatever you like. They usualy are mobile and do work on dealer lots. I met one of these guys fixing a rip in a leather seat. He told me that they can dye vynal, leather, and cloth. His company was called ColorTec. I don't know if they are national.
