I see a couple questions directed at me. Unfortunately I don't have the answers. I don't own the scoop. I met Dale at cars and coffee and I took the photos to share.

Now if I can get him to make me one in CF I will answer all your questions

I'm sure he would do a group buy of some kind if enough people are interested.

i contacted him about a CF scoop.. He was saying it would cost about double the amount to do... but you never know. maybe a group buy would lower that price... not by much though i would think.

Could we find out a price range for a group buy for the CF and Primed plastic? That would be awesome.

Just a friendly reminder that Group Buys on NAM need to be started by a Vendor.

We know... We just hope that the vendor will see this thread and realize that there's an opportunity.

Those profile shots posted above sure look like the same scoop to me...
No legal dimensions at all, unless the design was patented or copyrighted. Notice that most car models look like copies of other marque models.

I got my Voltage Scoop today... OMG this thing is beastly... in a GOOD way. You could club a seal to death with it, it's so heavy and solid... I don't think I have to worry about this one breaking... unless I go for the wheelchair bonus points in the Death Race. And the lines flow as beautifully in person as they did in the pics... it really is artfully done... Looks like I'm gonna be painting this and my headlight rings this weekend... and Blimey's makeover will be nearly complete...

BlimeyCabrio show us how she looks on your MCS after the paint dries please.

Further, if you can do some runs before/after and let us know how your IATemps are with the new scoop(I think you've got a wee ScanGauge II). Will it be 0-2 degrees F lower while cruising @ 70mph???

I'll look for temp trends. FWIW, I'm running a DDM diverter now on my OEM IC, along with a custom diverter plate I fabbed that fills the space in front and below the IC when the inner scoop liner is removed - with the full OEM scope and diverter, IATs would average about 14F over ambient at cruising speed. Now they average about 11-12F over ambient... so that's 2degrees F, just with a different diverter setup. I'm buying the scoop mostly for aesthetics vs. speed - but I'll be surprised if it doesn't drop my IATs some more...

Yep - I'll post pics when it's all done, too.

Voltage hood scoop arrived today. WOW!!!!!!! Exceptionally well made, solid, good clean lines, large throat opening - I like it. Need to prime and paint it. Currently running an M7 Ram so I will try to get some I/C tempuratures before and after.
