Other colors would look pretty sweet! If/when I get tired of the black, I might wrap it in flat white, or orange

Flat white would be freakin sweet.

Jesus that 2nd pic is pure sex. LOVE the wrap!

You are definitely onto something with flat orange. Hmmm...

I would like to wrap my front bumper and "part" of my hood.

My car is black. I have always wanted flames. How about mat black ghost flames on my shinny paint. They would stop just above the headlights.

Could something like this be done? Also, since the front of our little cars get hammered from rock's and stuff how well would the vinyl hold up?

Pardon my ignorance. I'm assuming that the wrap comes off easily and it does zero harm to the original paint?

What about rock chips and other assorted stuff that would normally put a rock chip in paint? Will the wrap withstand that type of everyday abuse?

Can a blemish that is received be corrected easily without doing it all over?

How does the price compare to a good quality paint job?

Thanks for the info.

Regards,

P&M

I know my vinyl headlight rings are still perfect but I did have them double wrapped and that is driving the NYS Thruway everyday which just tears up cars. Paint didnt last long at all but the vinyl has been damn durable.

I've seen sema cars that they strip the paint off a brand new expensive *** car and paint it flat black. I didn't like or even begin to under stand why they did those, but this looks way good!!!

Thanks guys!

Longboard, that can definitely be done.
The vinyl withstands the elements pretty well. When we wrap, we tuck behind the panel, and weather seal. We use high performance 8-10 year vinyl.

Pat - Yes, the vinyl comes off easily without any damage to the paint.
Like I stated above, the vinyl we us can battle the everyday elements pretty well, however, a good size rock could could put a chip in the vinyl, as it could paint.
You'd be paying less than half the price of a professional paint job for a full wrap. Painting a vehicle another color depreciates the value of the car.

Very interesting. So then can it be repaired? If you get a rock chip you can hit it with some touchup paint. Can you do the same thing with the wrap? What about fading. How does it hold up in that regard?
Colors?

Pat - If a chunk of vinyl does chip off, yeah, it can be repaired with a piece of vinyl. Vinyl wraps usually last a good 4-5 years, and with high performance vinyl there shouldn't be much of an issue with fading.

We are currently researching our options for colors and will have those posted on our site asap.

How much would wrapped arches cost. Your gloss black vinyl matches the jet black paint perfectly.

That's a great idea. Would the vinyl stick to the OEM arch? What kind of prep it need to be done? I'd buy that kit.

It is a good idea. Yet I wonder how well the vinyl will stick to the plastic...as you can see he did not wrap the arches...

Yeah, I'm not sure how well the vinyl would stick to the plastic. I have an extra set of arches but I've been so busy I have yet to test it.

do you think that this is a viable option for a race car? i know that the NASCAR guys use wraps (and probably most professional racing series), but they don't have the budgets of a grassroots racer. how might it hold up to the rigors of a track environment? wanna sponsor a MINI racecar?

We are charging between $2 - $2.5k for a full wrap.

bean - Nascars are all wrapped in vinyl. It will hold up just fine to road debris, but a wreck on the track

nothing holds up very well to a wreck on the track other than a checkbook-fix. the price seems good when compared to a custom paint job to get the same look. i'll call you when i get to that point. thanks.

It takes a good 4-5 days. Probably won't be able to bust it out at the Dragon. We won't have a climate controlled area either.
