I believe they all act the same, and offer similar sound quality. There must not be much difference in sound quality, as the radio sounds the same weither or not there is an antenna attached (at least were I live). So, its just up to you, based on the style you want. There are billet ones, short ones and SUPER short ones. Alta, M7, Moss Mini, PaloUber, Outmotoring, Helix Tuning, Mini Madness, and Minspeed all sell them.

I have the 4 inch one from Outmotoring. Works just like the original antenna - same radio quality (and looks a lot better). Pics in my gallery.

We have this one and no problems with the nav though I think the reception is not quite as good my wife says it is.

I just bought this one. Don't know how good it is yet or how long it will hold up. I can't justify paying Over $25 for an antenna. I think the prices are over inflated.

10 bucks shipping + 7 bucks for an antenna. Does 8 dollars really make that much difference to you? It's a little long for my taste, but if you like it - I guess that's all that matters.

More like saving $15 because the others charge shipping too. And with all the other stuff I've bought lately, $10 saving here and there all adds up fast. Plus it's the principle.

Well it was 25.39 shipped from ALTA. 25.39-17=8.39. And all aftermarket parts are "overpriced", at least to my knowledge.

But like I said if that antenna makes you happy, I cant argue against that. I'm only arguing against price logic

I was tempted to get the black version. Decided on the 5.75 because I like the OEM-looking shape and didn't want to go too short because I use the radio. Also considered Mangowalk. There's a German company I found that has a 1" which is essentially a bump.

Got my antenna installed and it picks up every station I had programmed. Also, the finish looks closer to the plastic base - not glossy. I applied some wax to help protect. We'll see how it lasts this summer.
