Recently I saw the air deflector/spoiler at my local MINI dealer. Looks good, but is $250 installed. I wanted to test drive the one demo they had to see if it actually quieted the wind noise down, but they refused saying it already had too many miles and they couldn't put any more on it.
So my question.....has anyone had the deflector installed and does it cut down the wind noise enough to make it worth the price?

I've been told you can get a similar item from your local auto parts store for around twenty bucks or so.

However I've also been told that the spoiler isn't very effective due to the size of the sunroof opening. I belive it was COOPERATION that told me this....

I have the stock "panoramic" sunroof with the air deflecting wings that automatically pop up when the sunroof is opened. They work great and I could not want for more air deflection. At 70mph you can still talk with the roof open... that's pretty good-- way better than others I've had. Just my 2c.
