You should see if Peter can do a special order for you. He's real nice!

Im so jealous you have the AGS-R!!

Do you think Peter would give a discount? That would be nice, being a student and all...

Btw, how do you like your chrome line interior? I am planning on adding a retrofit kit from Morristown Mini and I want to get some opinions on it...
Just curious

Do it. I think it looks great. Any person telling you there is a glare in the sun is just jealous they never got it to begin with I'm not a fan of the chrome on the outside, but inside, it looks really nice, especially with a nice clean up. The non-chrome interior in my opinion looks pretty blah.

I'm a student too! I commute though and work 4 jobs, pretty much why I am blessed to be able to buy these things. Although, my money in my stocks has significantly dropped Oh well, thankfully, it wasn't too much! Good luck!

I definitely will do it then. Morristown said that the kit would be 250 for the whole thing (plus 20 for shipping from NJ to Vegas), minus the tach (would have to buy a new one, not happening), shift lever trim ring (no biggie, they said I could just buy a new boot w/ trim if I want it later), and the e-brake handle (already ordered from outmotoring along with a beltline blackout kit). Not too bad since outmotoring's price is like 350, and morrismini's price is almost 400 )

Did u say 4 jobs? Wow... When I said student, I actually meant I was still in high school (sophomore)!! So what are you majoring in?

I didn't know, I assumed college! Yeah, I only have 4 classes a week so working is no problem for me. I'm majoring in Computer Science and minoring in Moding my MINI! Yeah, I paid 250.00 from the factory for the trim. Hope all works out well!

Haha thanks drsilvermini and yeah that could have something to do with it! Also, I think my paretns kinda wanted it for themselves, in a weird sorta way. My mom thought it was cute () and my dad liked the performance of it. He has been into exotic cars for a while now, and loved how the Mini could slalom FASTER than his Lamborghini.

Last year there was a dark silver R56 in the student parking lot, and this year there is a Chili Red R53. At my old high school there was four minis in the parking lot. An all astro black R56 (heavily modified), an MC40 (my dream mini when it came out) an oxygen blue R56, and a British Racing Green R53. Wow!

Holy crap that things looks awesome. Did it come with just the grill or did it come with the surround part too?

I installed the M7 grills on my R53 and they didn't come with the surround. I actually like the look without the surround. It blends right into the bonnet and looks really clean without the surround.

I installed the M7 grill set on my R53 and it didn't come with the surround on that version. Actually I think it looks best without the surround since it blends so nicely into the bonnet with those nice compound curves (see my gallery)
