rear bumper question.

before i begin on my question, i wanna say a few words.

first of all - i hope everyones summer was great, and that everyone is enjoying the school year (if theyre in school). i know im not loving school haha.
Anyway, with a new school year comes new "splurges" on the MINI. To start off, i got a custom turbo-back exhaust with no cats and two resonators for my MINI in july i believe it was. the exhaust was custom built to an R56 with the standard rear bumper. The problem here, is that i have the Hyper-Sport bumper. I thought it would fit fine and everything would be dandy, but the exhaust tips burned the SH*T out of my rear bumper!!!!!

A few weeks ago, Lyle from Vinyl Styles was staying with me and did a bunch of installs (great to see everyone who came, next time i expect more people!!!!), and one of the guys had a DS/B just like me, and had upgraded from the standard body kit to the JCW kit. I spoke to him earlier this week and purchased the rear bumper from him.

Heres my question......is it easy to remove the hyper sport bumper on the R56? is it worth it for me to try to do it myself if ive never done anything like this, or should i just go to a body shop and have them change the bumper for me?

the second part of my question (heres where i hope most of you guys and gals can chime in with your creativity). the bumper is PDC ready and has the holes (but not the sensors), and my car does NOT have the PDC option (the MINI isnt that hard to park ) so i want to get creative and do something crazy in the holes. My friend suggested i put fake machine guns in them and see if anyone notices haha. any ideas?

thanks in advance everyone!!

ok so heres an update.

i gave it a shot last night but to no avail. i thought about it for a little while this morning and called a few body shops. quotes ranged from $90 to $180...after hearing this i manned up and attempted it again with the help of a buddy of mine, and we got it!
