Interior/Exterior Removing center console?

Removing center console?

i need to get to the wires attached to the cig lighter to gwt power for guages. how do i get the center console up? thanks

grab your shifter ring, and pull up, it simply pops off. then reach underneath the console to pop out the power mirror control...just push. once you have that out, remove the two screws that are under it. there are two more screws in each front cup holder. remove them. lastly, on each downtube there are two torx screws that you have to remove. once you've done all this, all the pieces are freed and you can gain access to your lighter.

About removing center console

How do you get the trim piece under the steering column off to get to the torx screws on that side?
