Interior/Exterior How about adding heated seats and auto climate control?

I had the same problem with the auto climate control on my '04 R53. Turns out, if you push and hold the defrost button - the system will simply switch to moving the airflow to the defroster vents, but not run on full-speed crazy mode.

You need two things...
A q-tip with a few drops of water, and some plastic safe contact cleaner...
Bet some soda/coffee splashed on the button...got it stuck...
Use the q-tip to get a couple drops of water behind the buttons...then wiggle it...
The use the tube on the contact cleaner to spray a bit behind the button...
Problem solved...
Pretty common...
You could spend $50-100 on a used part...but I bet you can fix it for $7...auger in soda and code that splashed from the cupholder does mess stuff up...
