Rebadging

I just removed my front and rear badges to paint them and I am now having issues putting them back on securely. What has everyone else done to secure them back on the car?

For other badges, I've used 3M molding and trim tape available at most auto part stores. That stuff is insane to remove.

Did you clean off all the original adhesive that was on the car and badge first before applying?

You will definately have to do that. Once it has been stuck to something and removed it is NO GOOD for anything. Its a one shot deal. And when you use the 3M tape make sure it is in the correct position before applying any pressure or you will be starting all over again.

Not really the same thing....

Although in the US Integras came with the Acura badging....they actually came stock with Honda badges in other Asian markets. The idea of this rebadging is to stay true to the Japanese Market.

VW's have never been badged as audis in any country despite the VAG family ties.
