Interior/Exterior What would you do to this MINI?
Holy crap that is clean.
If you are keeping those rims, get some big brakes to fill them out.
Also, if it doesn't already have this, get a clear bra for it. There are numerous threads on the topic.

Well, I'd remove the bug mesh from the upper grille...
then I'd leave it alone as it looks great! Those wheels are cool--prolly weight a tonne, but who cares? That's a sweet, clean ride. Just drive it.

I'd lose the whole confusing grill business (whatever you've got going on there) in favor of a direct, straightforward, OEM chrome grill as is proper for a MINI
. Oh, and make sure the bottom bumper slat is done, too....thank you. Then, consider body-colored mirror caps...they'd look less random and more unifying with the bulk of the body-color than black, especially w/ that DS roof.
Oooo, and speaking of random...are those chrome bits on the windshield washers? Lose those and go back to good, honest, wholesome OEM. Same w/ the fresh air vents if they're not already. Those pieces always look like random bling because they emphasize something that really doesn't require or deserve it.
You can keep the wheels if you want...it's a major element, and those with the chrome grill and headlight surrounds (which you have) will make all these major elements pop, and they are all significant enough to warrant it.
Simplify....unify. Honest....direct.

I'd blackout the chrome beltline and the horizontal grille slats to put more emphasis on the chrome bits (door handles, S side markers, washer jets, and headlights) and bring out the wheels. The grille surround and the other chrome bits are bulbous, while the beltline and grille slats are linear, so blacking out just the linear elements will add greater emphasis to the contrasting shapes.
Definitely do away with the grille bug mesh. Can't tell if the parking lights are chromed, but chromed bulbs would get rid of the egg yolk look. Ceramic brakes would help keep the wheels clean, too. Not sure if window tint is legal in your area, but that would give the car a mysterious air. Big chrome shift ****? OP mentioned exterior mods, but that would tie together the interior and exterior.
Just my two cents...

With that color scheme I'd opt for the Joey mod on the lights, and I'd black out the chrome. Probably go for black grills as well. But thats just my opinion.. what you should REALLY do is whatever YOU want!
Another vote for some blacking out. I'd remove the chrome in the tail lights, get an aerogrill, black out the beltline, get tint for the lights on the sides of the bumpers, and drop it a bit. Anyway, that's what I am doing. All I've got let is the tint for side lights and a drop.
I also did the Home Depot Front Lip mod...I like it.
