does anyone think this is possible?
I am talking about physically altering the seat mounting brackets to eleminate the 3 or so inches of space b/t the seat and the floor even when the OEM adjustment is at its full lowest position.
for us tall folks this would help by actually being able to see out the windshield and see what was at our 1 oclock instead of having the rear view mirror block our vision.
another reason is to get a more sporty feel while driving by sitting lower, see this thread in the first gen forums:

plus I think it would look cool to be sitting down real low having only your head be visible above the window sill: hot rod style
