Vinyl installing and removing

How difficult is vinyl to install and then remove? After install its not permanent and will not damage paint right?

I am thinking of wrapping my scoop in flat black and the roof in some other color. Is it easy to remove if I don't like it on the roof?

I am in the same boat...
I want the Union Jack from Cooper Flags, but I can't seem to find anyone that does dry vinyl.

ukthunderace, k_h_d,

Check with a local sign shop that does lettering on vehicles and trucks. They can tell you the whole process and how easy each type of material they us is to remove.

My local shop is making me a custom (from my design) and installing for about half of what most of the places on line are charging for just the graphic.

Automotive vinyl, in my experience, is easy to install and remove.... I usually install larger stuff (stripes, etc.) using the wet method... though I understand some materials don't work so well wet... nope, doesn't damage paint. wrapping a scoop can be a bit tricky with all the curves to do it without a seam... may take a few tries if you're new to it...
