Dash almost done

after 3 cans of paint....a few **** ups and lots of time...the dash is almost complete....just few more coats on the tach trim and it should be done

markp: they came from Lyle at Vinyl Styles....he custom made them for me...give him a buzz on here and give him ur ideas and he should be able to help
bang: my plan is either find the JCW CF tubes or get a set of leather covers from redline...problem is my legs rubs the downtube alot so i would probably wear the vinyl down
ngweibing: another coat of paint on the tach and it should be ready to be installed...im also working on the speaker grilles/trim off the doors (yellow trim/black grilles)

That is easily the sweetest set up I have seen in a while and it looks very Porsche or Ferrari inspired. Great job. Seriously unique, not like you just threw up a union jack to set yourself apart, like some folks in the MINI community. If the shoe fits wear it.

well thank you...it all started with repainting the dash itself....when that was done i was sitting in the car at amviv and just something seemed a bit off...the patina rings just looks out of place...just figured i would do contrasting colors

ill prolly post more in a bit when i finish the tach ring...im also trying to track down a CF 2 5/8 mech boost guage to match the dash...i have a A-M Ultra-Lite which is silver (matched the old faces)
