Interior/Exterior Just put a $%#^ Hole in my Leatherette Seat
I just got done washing my car and I wanted to try and fixe the water faucet. When I was done I put the screw driver in my back pocket. Put up all my stuff and then got into the car and drove it into the garage. While I got out of the car, I heard the tearing sound.
I it could have been worse. There is a hole about the size of the screwdriver blade, and a small gauge next to it. I was wondering if anybody has every tried the repair kits made for Pleather/Leatherette? Since my seats are black and the tear is in the back part of the bottom of the seat it is not that noticable. I just want to make sure the tear doesnt get bigger.
Oh well, I can't stay to pissed off. It is not really _your_ car until you break somthing.

You might consider contacting an auto upholstery specialty shop to see if they can do a repair or render advice.
Sorry to hear about this accident. Ouch!
A self inflicted wound.

Ouch...sorry to hear that. My father did the same thing about 25 years ago on a car and it has stuck with me ever since. Everytime I think about putting a screwdriver in my back pocket I think of the hole in that seat. Live and learn.
