Not sure where to post this, but the chrome ring at the tip of my e-brake lever fell off this weekend, so I stuck it back on..
it keeps falling off.
I can't figure out if it's missing some sort of D-clip or if it's supposed to *snap* on or what.
but it's really annoying me.

Sounds like one of the locking tabs is possibly broken.It should only fit one way,line up the tabs and snap in place.

 

Sounds like your car is telling you to buy one of Robin's wooden brake handles...

 

I looked more closely & I think one of the locking tabs is broken. I didn't find any pieces, but it looks like it should be longer.

I dunno bout wood tho I like it all blue / silver / grey
