Interior/Exterior Joey mod on Xenons
Joey mod on Xenons
Sorry if this has been asked for before, but does anyone have any advice and/or detailed description on how to do this mod to my car? I have been wanting to do this for a long LONG time now, but have just been a little bit scared about trying to do it without more info.
Any help or advice would be gratefully appreciated.

There are numerous threads related to this, and I think I read em' all, just type in "joey" in a search and set the pull down menue to titles only. I did a how to for the Xenons and there are other threads related to the halogens.
Good luck. Happy modding.
and have fun.

joey mods are actually very simple . however i have done xenons in the past and all it takes it just detatching the lights from the car and then popping the lif off and taking apart the part in the housing . its all a puzzle .just pieces! however my suggestion which pertains to both types of lights is do this on a warm day or with a heat gun and heat up around the rim where the lens drops into the black housing . there is a tar sorta compound seal and this can be warmed up nicely which allows for easy removal of the lens . after that the easy stuff begins because you take the bulb out and take the round cap off thats around the bulb and you start preppin and painting . if you have a good hand for DIY things then im sure you will be fine . I jumped into this with no advising i kind of got brave one day and just went for it . i think you will find its much easier than its cracked up to be
true well to a point that is true because if you dont like blacked out you can prime them and paint again but yeah unless you have access to chrome plate plastic parts then yeah when its done theres no turning back
mines reversible too, because I bought a spare set in case i messed up. I believe i paid 255 for a spare set. Now that im finished...i didn't even need them. so I may be passing them off, or may hold on to them just in case.
