Think about it. Your windows are up. Your driving around and you see another Mini. What better way to wave then to stick your hand and arm out of the port hole in your roof?

Wouldn't a sunroof provide the same function?

interesting...

I suppose I might just do what I have been thinking about for a while. Get rid of the sunroof and all its mechanics then rivet snaps to the perimeter and get a piece of black canvas, sew on the other part of the snap and cover the opening.
