Here are the sets of washers,nuts and screws I got...about 4 bucks each at lowes
washers used to hold down the bottom screw of the headlight assembly
these are tricky, but I used a washer before the tab, then a nut to hold each down except the first one. so the fender basically had 3 screws that didnt move and only the first one moved because it didnt have a nut. then I put it on the hood and placed 4 nuts on the end. This seemed like the easiest method without using clips.

Is the CF hood just the center section or have the fenders been painted?

You ATLEAST want to clear coat it...otherwise the gel coat greens like UKSUV...especailly in the arizona sun. so if your gonna pay to get it in the paint shop, why not add a little YOU-if-i-cation?

Yeah....my hood has greened like Kevlar..lol. I will eventually paint it and leave just an emblem or something etched into the CF.....

the fenders are not painted...i think the angle of that picture is deceiving...
just around the headlights and grill are painted silver and the entire hood is clearcoated...

Its a CF hood, with PS paint on the sides, around the headlights and around the grill. THen the entire hood, including scoop are clear coated...
I better get used to this one...is it not obvious?

yeah so this guy i know...got a really REALLY fast lookin mini...hes got a cool carbon fiber overlay...
I got it at Yogi's in Phoenix...btw, you can get 5 gallon tubs of Ice Cream there as they put it on for you...takes forever.
