seat swap

im going to be running some autocross this spring and have a sparco evo sitting around. im planning on swapping the sparo in for autocross events and putting the stock seats back in afterwords. my car is an 02mcs. the seats are leather and heated. can i emove them without damaging the seat heaters?

no problem. four allen bolts and unplug 3 molex. The only tough part is the seat belt latch - it bolts on and the cables need to be snaked through. I have a spare one....not super clean, but maybe a better option for you...leave the stock one alone and bolt this one to your Evo bracket

yes, unplug them. My '06 has three plugs on the driver's side and 5 on the passenger's side

ok, and these plugs are where the cord meets the seat? it sounds easy enough to take in an out.

FYI - If you start the car without the stock seats' wiring plugged in, you will cause the airbag light to come on. And, it won't go off when you reconnect the seats' wiring - you'll have to go to the dealership.
