Palo Uber ...

I ordered a Palo Uber Scoop for my R53 from Geoffrey yesterday at Palo Uber. Has anyone spoken to him before? He wanted my credit card details to be eMailed in an unencrypted mail to a yahoo address (I searched the yahoo address here, and someone had communications with PU through it, so it's definitely PU's contact addy), but I declined, and asked that it be done via phone instead. I was getting the scoop at a discounted price, so the online ordering wouldn't have worked.

My Credit Card company have contacted me here in Ireland as PU have put my payment through 6 times, and were trying a 7th, and now I'm over 1000 Euro down, and can't get in touch with PU by phone or eMail. Does anyone have another contact number for them?

Put those charges in dispute with your CC company, e-mail a cancelation to PU, call and leave message that the order has been canceled, have that credit account canceled and a new account number issued. Someone has stolen your number , be it PU or someone else you need to take action to protect your credit. Oh yea, find a scoop else where.

But the number matches the one on PU's website, and if someone wanted to use my card for theft, why put the same payment through so many times, why not just take a lump sum? The payment was going through to a company called Palo Uber London, so it does stack up.

The price from PU was very attractive, and with the Euro/Dollar rate, it made it a no brainer in terms of price.

Keeping the thread OT, without asking other questions, and the general anti-PU sentiments that will probably surface here, if anyone has spoken to Geoffry before, or anyone has a different contact number, please get in touch.

Your right, I'm sure that putting your charge through seven times was just a mistake and when you finally talk to Geofery he will be able to clear everything up and process six credits (at this point) to your account.
