Blackout Light Covers

For those of you that dont know, GT Styling makes covers for headlights/tail lights and you can choose to either get them black, clear, or carbon fiber...

now that being said....

I have a friend that has the blackout GT Styling Covers on his Mustang Rousch and I love how they look and that they still allow the light to be seen perfectly through them. I was wondering if anyone has tried getting some for a/their MINI so I can see how they look

thx

minimania sells a set of tinted tails. not covers but the entire unit, so they are a little more expensive, but would probably look a lot better.

i see them... there 04s tho and I have an 06
but I dont really like how it looks, the GT Styling Covers are a little darker

What I'm looking for is a dark cover/Tint which allows a lot of light to go thru
I basically dont wanna be pulled over for the lights, but I want it to look dark during the day

if no one has it i think i might just order the covers for the tail lights...

has anyone else seen anything like this before I make the leap of buying something no1 else has (on a mini) lol

That is a dark tint that covers the rear lights. It smokes it out during the day but allows light to go through at night time.

I've got tinted film. Mine is dark, but headlight output is reduced a bit but I still don't have a problem driving through winter storms or anything. Never had any problem with the law either. I'd also assume removing them with out damage is pretty easy but I don't think you could put them back on after removal.

I just happen to have dark grey film and middle grey film ...
If you want to DIY ... this is what you want. The dark is awesome for the rear and the middle looks great on the headlights

PM me if interested

Yep, thats what I have on my lights. For the front I have something that is also a lot darker than what COR BLMY posted.

I'll try and get some photos at night tonight if I remember, but i'm guessing it won't turn out great with my cell.
