Interior/Exterior Fully Custom made MINI Challenge Wing + Diffusers.
Errrr... European License plate in Korea?

Here are a few shots of the fully cutom designed MINI challenge wing from South Korea.. (The awesome mini is owned by Dir. Hong, a famous m/v director in korea)
He also has diffusers all made up in aluminum i believe but the diffusers aren't on the car yet (as you can tell from missing trims on the last pic) . It is such a shame that all the vendors in the U.S., even for R53, have NOT come up with something like this or similar for all these years.....
Anyways, enjoy and let me know if you guys want to know more info on the wing. I think Director Hong have the blueprints and stuff for em...

Absolutely beautiful.... I hadn't seen a diffuser I like and this is the first one that is PERFECT aesthetically. The others are too long, too thin or too ugly.
The only one that has come close is Group4's but they don't make it for the JCW rear bumper thus the reason why I've been trying to modify one of theirs now.
Where do we sign up?
Great job.

Knock offs are always cheaper
Factor in shipping from Russia , no lower connect wing and I doubt you come up with half the cost . More power to him with the project , I was just pointing out that those that thought this was a new design were late by about 2 years .

Hi Randy!
If you found some similar lines between your diffuser and mine, that is not a fiction! Honestly, there are not so many options to choose from designing the diffuser except for its length and height.
From my side you will not receive any curse addressed to M7 or M7 products, they are all fine, but unfortunately some MINI lovers are located very far from you. Still we have some people here who carefully study world experience (and all of us really respect your products and your business as well as other companies in USA) and perform something looking similar.
What I would really like to say to you is that you could try to design something new for the 2 years passed from presenting the first diffuser. Something that would attract people's mind and attention by its newness
The same as you have two kind of roof hoods, you could design some "light" diffuser. That is just a sort of idea from your customer who knows almost all of your products!
Regards,
Roman

As i said earlier I have no issues with any of this especially you . I was only addressing some of the members that thought this design was " new " when you and I both know it is at least two years old. As for coming out with another system ,as you also mentioned ,there is not a lot of room design wise to do it properly . To make it functional there are formulas that really do not lend itself to much variation. 11 to 12 degrees of rake is optimum as far as down force verses drag and the further you get away from that the more you have looks instead of function . Ours is 11 degrees on the nose which on the r-53 requires going to a straight exhaust . The r-56 version is a easier install as the layout of the exhaust in stock form creates for a much easier install. We will not be altering this formula to create a " light " version which would be more for looks only . Its really not worth the effort and I think there are some other people coming out with versions which might fit the bill for those that want to go that route.
I understand the cost of shipping to your location makes some parts over the top expense wise but it is the same is true for us buying from Europe or Asia and bringing them here . Sometimes our hobbies can drive us crazy can't they ?

I would love to have one, but Duell AG is not easy on the wallet. Not to mention you'll have to have it shipped from Nagoya Japan.
Hmm, Duell's is nade of Carbon Fiber, who makes this one?

[QUOTE=jackyiscxd;3167350]what about this one??

Ugly as hell...
You can't put a diffuser that has square AND round curves in the same diffuser and then try to install it into the stock curved OEM diffuser space.
If they had actually cut out ALL of the OEM diffuser and either used both curved edges or square edges, they might have pulled it off.
Good idea, terrible design.
Mark
PS. Too short of a design also, needs to be taller.
PSS. What do I know...

I like the Square and Round edges. But your right, in no way does this model fit this bumper.

Yah, from an aesthetics stand point I prefer the play between the rounded edges and the 90 degree corners. I think they do a good job together, visually.
It looks stuck on with the edge of the aero spoiler still visible because it wasn't designed for that bumper. It was designed for their (BMW influenced) bumper which the diffuser mates to almost perfectly.
