On the note of individuality, it's really hard to be individual when you're surfing this website all the time. I find myself comparing my car to the cars on here instead of all the minis I see around town. I have NEVER seen a mini that looked as good as those of the frequent posters on here...I guess we all push each other to go bigger and better.

Uhhhhh, no because people can do whatever they want to their car. You might think they look tacky, but I can guarantee my car probably looks 100 times better than yours even with the "tacky" taillights. And tonanswer your question with a question....Why don't you keep the stock look and remanufacture with no chrome and make the bottom side / brake light multiple leds?
I do like the orange!!

Sorry you had bad luck, but the quality is not bad. I've ran 3 sets with no problems. I had a pair on my 2003 Solid Gold Cooper, a set on my current car, and now the painted ones I got off Mushadd, another NAM member. I still have the orginal pair that I purchased. Now the Euro style lights I got from Moss MINI on the other hand were junk. Had to send them back 3 times because of cracks in the lenses.

No, Moss doesn't sell those taillights. Your best bet is to get them off eBay. Don't worry about bid wars, most vendors have the buy it now option. A lot of vendors will sell the lights for $30 and charge like $20 shipping. Not bad, and remember that there are no aftermarket taillights for 2004 and up MINIs, so you have to retrofit a reverse light into the bumper.

How did I get owned? Because Act4 said so? Or is it because the other guy posted a picture of a black MINI with orange highlights. Since it was brought up that these taillights were tacky, I just decided to tell him my car probably looked 100 times better than his, because quite frankly this thread was to help out the OP or whoever else wanted these lights. It didn't require you trying to feel better about yourself by jumping in. Now run along, I think I heard your mom calling. She wants the car back.
And here I was being nice by not originally calling you an "Internet Gangsta", 'cus in reality I would have no problems seeing you in person and giving you a lesson in humility. As far as my car not looking 100 times better, you're wrong. Seriously, anybody can slap colored wheels on their car and paint their mirror caps to match. You'd have to park them sided by side to make that call. And again, it didn't concern you to start with. BUT, I will thank you for being such a comedian. You have had me laughing a lot, and after yesterday's news, I needed it!!
