OK... the MCS arrived yesterday and I'm already installing the small stockpile of goodies in it.

Regarding the Euroshelf. I read the instructions as http://www.zangerlivingood.com/mini/...helf/index.htm and looked at his pcitures.

Popping it down was easy enough and the left and right hinges feel like they'll pull right out.

The center one is very tight and I'm fearful of breaking it. How does it really come loose? Does the entire piece simply pull off towards the driver's seat?

Thanks in advance.

(Sheesh... I can take a transmission out of a Series III in the dark but can't handle a stupid piece of plastic. )

Yup. Rotate the whole thing towards the seat and down. The bottom is sort of hinged. The top just have posts with "beads" on the end that pop into receptacles under the dash. If the top is free the piece swings down and the "hinge" seperates.

Thanks... I was kind of rushed this morning trying to get my wife out, the daughter fed and the nephew ready to go to the local community college. Here in PHX, if you want to do something like this, early AM is the best bet!

Getting the top loose was simple. One yank and it rotated down. I was fearful of continuing the rotation action in fear of breaking the plastic. It's not exactly thick in that area.

I'll give it another go tonight.

Thanks again!

The way I found the easiest was to rotate down so that the bolster was basically horizontal. Then pull HARD straight out towards the driver's seat. It'll pop out.

Good deal... I'll try both ways and see what *breaks* loose.

When I pulled my bolster off, I just grabbed it by the steering column and pulled down. The whole thing came off hinges and all. Just snapped right back on when I was done.
