Great Experience with Auto Paint Guard

Hey guys, just wanted to share a great experience I had with Ryan from Auto Paint Guard.

I'm about to take delivery of my '08 MCS and I'm looking to get a clear bra installed. I found a post on NAM from Ryan from a few years back (https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...ad.php?t=48843) talking about how he was coming to Jacksonville to do clear bra installs.

Thinking that he might still be making regular trips to Jacksonville, I emailed him a few days ago to find out when he would be here next. He replied stating that he would not be in town any time soon, but recommended contacting the local tint shops to see if they installed clear bras. He also told me to make sure they don't use razor blades and which patterns fit the car best.

I had heard that a lot of tint shops used clear bra installs to supplement their business, but the results weren't always that great. I had also contemplated ordering the materials and doing it myself, but I wanted to have a warranty with someone, so if something went wrong, I could take it back and have it redone and not have to worry about the hassle of redoing it myself.

I was still trying to decide what to do when I received an email from Ryan today. Not only was he helpful enough to tell me about the razor blades and the patterns in his first email, but his second email was to tell me that he had located someone in Jacksonville to install my clear bra! Wow, talk about going out of your way to help someone out!

Ryan just gave me the guy's name and number, so I called, and it happened to be the same shop where the father of a guy I work with had gotten his tint done. I had just gotten their business card from him last week and was planning on going there for my tint because of how happy he was with the job they had done.

Shawn, the guy that I talked to at Clear Impressions (the number Ryan gave me) was amazingly helpful as well. He told me EVERYTHING about the clear bra and the tint process and materials. I probably spent 10 minutes on the phone with him, when all I really intended to do was get a quote and find out a few details. Really nice guy as well.

So, thanks to Ryan going out of his way to help me out, I'll only have to go to one place to get both my tint and clear bra done and I'll have a warranty to fall back on if something happens!

Ryan, if you are reading this, thanks again man! You're the best!

Disclaimer: I have not purchased any products or services from Ryan or Auto Paint Guard, so I cannot speak to the quality of his work, however, if his work is anything like his customer service, I'm sure it's top notch!

Being that Ryan is a NAM member, I'm sure that someone on NAM has gotten work done by him. If so, please post your experience. I would love to send some business his way as a thank you for helping me out.

If this is the same Ryan from Tampa, he did my Mercedes Benz in 2005 the day after I got it and did a great job. He even went above and beyond because I had to have it done that day, the next day I was driving to Orlando (I-4 was under construction). He was in my garage until almost 10pm putting it on. Good thing too because a rock broke my windshield, I can only imagine how many hits the shield took but no damage.
