I had a set of these on my car for a little bit. But I had the manual set, and the pedals sat a little too close for my liking so I replaced them with a set of oem MCS pedals.

Awh, that's a shame. I love close pedals. Makes it so easy to heel toe.

this is a great thread. I have a set of the Hamann pedals, but was unsure what to do with the gas and dead pedals. Now I know. Pics as soon as they are on!

Has anyone removed the dead rest pedal? If so, how did you do it?

Want to save weight aye?
Yeah im not sure how to do it either, i need to install my new dead rest pedal there. It looks like you can peel it off the floor but if i try that i will break something. Arent there two little gaps along the edge of the pedal?

I am having the same issue as well. I want to install my new dead rest pedal there but I can't get the old one off. I checked realoem.com and it shows to posts or something like it is screwed down but I can't figure out to get to the screws. Like you said though, I know I will break something if I force it!

I ended up installing my OutMotoring dead pedal over the factory one. I believe you have to take everything apart and get at it from the back if you want it gone. Or you can get a paint marker, paint it black and install over it. Much easier.

There has got to be a way to get the old one off of there. The new one just does not look right sitting on top of the old one. It sits up too high.

You take a flathead screwdriver and pry out the oval piece. Under neath there are two nuts that hold the base on
