if i bought aftermarket seats does anyone know if i could keep my heated seats....could i dismantle my factory seats to get to the heater cores of are they just stuck to the bottom of the seats..thanks for any info

They are imbeded in the foam of the seat. You will not be able to transfer them unless you have a REALLY crafty upholstery person that can rip apart your new seats after slaughtering your old ones.

I replaced the seat heater heating element in my BMW's passenger seat bottom. It took me pretty much the whole weekend. It was quite a workout. It is definitely doable; it just takes A LOT of strength and patience.
My driver's side heating element went out shortly afterwards; I am not going to fix that one.

There's an aftermarket company that sells seat heating systems for cars that did not come equipped with such. You might do a search on Google for seat heaters and see what turns up.
