Does anyone know if it is possible to remount the stock runflat tires(17&quot on new rims? Also, who sells replacement runflats? Hopefully, not just the dealer...

Yes Owen,

I had my S panasports chromed and they pulled off the runflats, obviously, and remounted them. I have had no problems since then.

They did have a special machine for mounting tires on chrome wheels, instead of the standard rotating bar that peels them off....but that is really unrelated to the tire...it was just because they didn't want to peel off the chrome on my wheels.

I can't answer the second question...sorry. I believe I have Dunlop runflats...I would think the internet would be a tremendous resource for finding good prices.

 

You need special rims for run-flats to hold the bead in place in low pressure conditions.
