That sure is a good looking car they used to build the prototype, whoever offered up their car to let them use it must sure be cool....
They also made me an additional cover for the "way back" to make one level surface for the whole car. Can't wait to get my car back so I can see it in person.

I've got the one from them for the R53, and as much as I like not having the back seats there, the product was definitely not worth the price.
It's a very flimsy piece of plastic with no reinforcement underneath. It's also slick, even with the texture, so stuff slides around on it unless you add a layer of no-slip mat. It also greatly amplifies the road noise.
I've seen some really nice DIY ones, so hopefully we'll get some nice aftermarket ones soon, too.

That's an issue I've heard with most rear seat deletes. You definitely want to dynamat it after removing the seats. You'd be surprised how much noise they insulate you from. Just riding with the rear seats folded down I can hear a significant difference.

I bought a roll of Dynamat to add to the bottom of the panel, but never applied it. I originally did the delete kit for weight savings as well as additional cargo space, so the combination of the kit plus dynamat plus non-slip mat was getting dangerously close to the weight of the seats
I think I'm going to take the kit out and use it as a template to make one out of something a little more solid and sound absorbing. Either that, or just put the seats back in

There are a variety of soundproofing materials available from these folks:

I used their QUIET BATT - Acoustic Thermal Insulation Batting for the space below the floor I put in.
