MINI logo wheel caps ?

I'm looking for an emblem with either the MINI text or MINI winged logo with a diameter of 1-1/2" or 40mm that I can stick onto a wheel center cap. Anyone know if an OEM cap is available in this size?

I know AC is able to make custom wheel caps but I was hoping to find some for less than $50 for a set of 4.

Thanks.

AC's center caps are not $50 for 4... IIRC, more like $20.

Okay, I'm back. Did you miss me ??

They're $30 for a set.

I should know that by heart, I have them on all 3 MINIs.

The OEM cap is 50mm diameter. $2 to $4 each depending on which dealer you get it from.

I did miss you.

but, from AC's website which is kind of confusing:

High quality raised vinyl adheres to wheel. Set of 4: $30.
Please specify diameter in comment field when ordering! Please note that because of the extensive doming process we only have the stock MINI wheel size of 2" available immediately, therefore your custom size or design WILL take 4-6 weeks to deliver. See the FAQ page for more details.
Design your own centercap to fit your car's personality. Custom sets are $50 for a set of 4

So I want (4) regular old mini logos, but I want it with a diameter of 1-1/2", doesn't that mean I have to order a "custom" size and pay for the "custom" set?

I covered my original domed logos with vinyl (gloss black background with silver logo). Nobody can tell they aren't "real", lol.

Ahhh... so you have aftermarket wheels with a smaller center cap.

Yes, I would say that qualifies as a custom order, even though you want the standard MINI logo. Mike keeps the 2" caps in stock but anything else will take him a few weeks to fill the order and will cost a bit more.

But when you see the quality, you'll understand why these cost so much more than those thin, flimsy, plain OEM caps.

Here is an EBay auction for some decals to put over your centercaps like OG did. I dunno the seller so not vouching for quality

Here is another place that sells custom decals for centercaps

Yep that's what I did, but $3.95 to ship something that costs probably 39 cents by first class mail is silly. =) I've heard good things about the edecal place...

Here's another picture of what they look like. The actual MINI caps are domed meaning the logo is underneath a clear dome of resin so it's protected. This is just a 2 pieces of vinyl with no protection--but in 50,000 miles of driving and plenty of washes, no issues whatsoever.

OctaneGuy, where did you get yours? The ebay version is also 2" diameter and too large for my cap.

Not sure if the quality of AC's domed center caps will come through on the photos, but in person, the quality is very obvious.

Edgeracing Flik Bullet--discontinued! Matte black finish with silver inner lip. After 1 year, the paint quality is typical of Flik wheels--clear coat is peeling. So I will be repainting them.

No problem. I bought them for $79/piece-- during Edgeracing.com 's WTF sale last year..didnt realize they were being discontinued at the time.

37 pounds. Wheels are 17 pounds, tires are 18.7 pounds. Falken Ziex 512

bumping this thread with a new question...
i'm running these WORK wheels that came with what i'd described as fussy looking centercaps. Originally i had thought about removing the WORK emblem and throwing a MINI one on. But still i get this fussy looking centercap with fake looking allen bolts. (i'm sort of indifferent about running capless & the jdm look.... )

What I want is a plain cap that measures 5.5cm in diameter (2-1/4"). Anyone know where i can find caps in this size? Thanks.
