Side decals

here's an updated pix of my ACS MCS now that I've removed the side decals (you can still see them in my signature) and blackened the headlight surrounds and all the chrome that was on the grille. next, i'll be painting the door handles and tackling the chrome under the windows, as well as painting an extra hood scoop matte black. any fab CF for a decent price? I'm thinking that the two lips on the front bumper inbetween the front signals and the fogs would look good with a CF piece over them (there are two similar lips on the rear bumper).
wondering about one central deck strip in place of the two racing stripes or no stripes at all..
the car still needs to be lowered and the windows tinted. cravenspeed ssk being added next week.

sorry - wrong forum

Looks very red.

Might get a little more feedback over in the 1st gen forum though...

I know it's been talked about. I cant seem to find it in the search.. But where did you get the black headlight surround cover? Your car looks nice all color matched like that.

lylesvinylstyles will cover them in vinyl. i actually removed mine and painted them with high temp matte black paint. thanks for the compliment. btw, the quote in your signature is great!

Cool. But why does your MINI appear to be a 1:18 scale model in that pic ?

I think it's because, as ratt said, the color appears to be QUITE red... i.e., a much brighter red than CR. Must be the lighting.

that is funny - it doesn't look real in that pix. well, that is my garage, and unless I'm the size of an ant, that is my actual CR MINI -pix was taken after a very thorough hand car wash. It must be the lighting also - it was cloudy and the garage has one small light.
