I had mine done by the dealer prior to pickup.
Clearbra $899.
Tint (all but the windshield) $299.
I wanted the clear bra done immediately, as I was picking up my car in the winter months. We sand heavily in Washington. Didn't want anything to get chipped up on the way home or the 2-3 day window vefore getting it done somwhere else.
All total, about $200-250 more than I could have done it in the aftermarket. On the other hand, my dealer is covering the work for the duration of my factory warranty... and I'm confident I know where my dealer will be over the next 5-years (versus some aftermarkey vendor/installer thta may, or may-not be around).

I just got Scooter back from Auto Super Shield in Boca Raton. Pepe and his team did an outstanding job on my Clear Bra 3M Film ( front bumper, mirrors, hood, and lights.) install. You want to find the right installer so you should shop around. Pepe had just finished the whole front of a Ferrari and the work he did on my Mini was first rate. The job was about $700. I have done most every Mod myself but this is one I would leave to the Pro's.
By the way I was the lucky winner of a Gift Certificate for the job from the Mini's of Miami Dec picnic.

In general, I NEVER pay dealers for anything extra beyond purchasing the car. There is usually someone independent who will do quality work cheaper.
The only time a dealer works on my car is when it is under warranty. After that, I take it to my independent mechanic.
When we bought our last MINI, Classic MINI in Ohio was nice enough to charge me nothing to install a custom set of stripes I had sent to them from cooperflags. That was really sweet of them.
