I'm not old but 20% is too dark for me @ night.

35% is perfect for the all around tint.

Louie from St Lou looks incredible! I cannot believe it is 35%. Looks more like 20%!

Anyway, sincere thanks to all of you who responded.

I am off to the tinter on Saturday, then I am calling my big shot eye doctor on Monday and tell him I am having trouble with glare....etc. What's the big deal about writing me a note? I got one to get out of Gym in High School many years ago for $5.00 from a genuine crook.

Regards,
Red

MiniMac,

You are right about going darker if possible to get the best look. I'm used it too from my old Civic. I have 5% limo tint on the sunroof, moonroof, rear 3 windows, and windshield visor. The front sides have 50% to avoid a ticket.

Had the 3M HP 35% black tint ("sputtered metal" in the material) applied today, and it looks great! Before, no one gave the (PS/B) car a second look. Today I got a lot of stares!

I can see in, and I can see out just fine. The glare from the driver's mirror is gone.

The darker tints look cooler, but IMHO the 35% is a better application for low light conditions.

Regards,
Red

6% in rear three windows and windshield visor, 35% on front sides - zero problems.
