I really like how your car's coming along, looks really good and hard to believe it was so tan when built.
It's an inspiration for my car (I'm becoming more and more obsessed with Alcantara and Leather.)

Man, Jon if you would enter a car show and not win I would be FLOORED. Your interior has got to be the best crafted in a Mini thus far.
You already know I am going to attempt to be up to par with you...My design will be different( I am not sure I can do all of the stiching yet, like you have) but none the less. Your car is to the Mini's interior world as Gnat and MSFITOY are to the performance Better than Stichcraft

Loving the interior. The doors came out trick with the suede on the bottom and leather on top. I had the same idea for the center of the door card, looks awesome really makes the door "pop." I find that the leather matches pretty well with the factory color, can't even tell.

So which dash are you going with finally?

But my preference is for the leather one.

I have enough material coming that I may re-do my old door panels in all alcantara, so that I have a set to match the dash...like a pair of shoes, I can switch them when I want. hehe.
You don't want to sell/trade dash parts do you? haha... i like the alcantara/alcantara

i like it, but IMHO theres too many different colors as of now. the factory dash color, black suede, blue suede, carbon fiber, black leather, blue leather, the stock silver pieces (speaker grill, etc) gray sunvisors.

dont get me wrong, the work is A+, i'm just not feelin how it all blends

Nice work. I have a question on the euro tray, is there a cut out to relocate the OBD connector? and where did you get your floor mats?

Great attention to detail Jon. I really like that you solved your carpet situation. I am waiting to see this thing actually completed.
Keep up the great work.

Chris.

im still waiting on my rear side panels to get finished. then i can put my wall back in and start the trim panels on the sides to seal it all off, then once thats all done, ill slow start getting the dash, carpet, etc covered (black vinyl/black suede)

the seats im thinking of going all black suede, and im going to delete the headrests. i have them off now, i like the look better without them
