Looks great! I bought all oem anthracite pieces to go with my suede headliner and pillars. You would be amazed at how much those visors are new. I paid around $70 each for the lighted ones.
I think I might try to do it myself. But I need the money to buy the suede. Plus, I think I am going to try and go an animal friendly route, so I need to find a nice inexpensive alternative. Currently I am painting some of the lower parts flat black and I will hopefully have pics sometime next week.
here are my plans that will take place this coming week. i have to go to my upholstery shop to get some black dye.
being dyed black:
-dome light trim ring
-the little arms coming out of the visors that bolt the visor to the headliner -the clock thing on the headliner
-the 2 things that go around the sunroof (those plastic trim things, they're more of a charcoal than a black)
-the trim rings around the gauges, etc
-any other little things that cant be covered, and arent already black
-i will be making some black faced things for the speedo and tach (got a tip for a DIY from another member, rather than buying new black gauge faces for 100+ dollars)
-top dash pad = black vinyl
-bottom section of dash = black vinyl
center of dash (airbag, etc) = black suede
-seats, all suede
-front of wall when i get it all installed, ill prally do a vinyl suede combo
-carpet is gonna go black, im gonna buy some thin black carpet and just got the interior and the pedals, and glue the new carpet to the factory carpet (keeping the factory molding)
everything else will be vinyl (kick panels, majority of the door panel, etc)
im trying to think up a badass design for the door panels, which will have to incorporate my 4 6.5" speakers per door (maybe 3, not sure yet), and 4 (or 3) bullet tweeters (im changing my original layout for the door panels, i dont want any of the speakers firing into the seats)

Why do you need the wall in your car??
Cheers

Curious..
Has anyone considered dying the plastic (glovebox, etc.) so it didn't appear so... um... blue?
I think it would improve the looks of all of these cars, including stock cars (like mine)

similar question, has anyone dyed the headliner? ive seen it done on other cars, just kind of brushed on with a hard britstle brush. I cant really understand why my interior is so dark on the lower half and almost white form the pillars up.
you prally could dye the headliner, not with a brush though i dont think...they make a vinyl/fabric/carpet dye in a spray can, i think that would be better.to be honest, id spend a few extra bux and just cover it black, doesnt even have to be suede, you can get black material just like factory headliner material.
Nice work, what are you planning to do in the back there? I see you have the interior panels removed. I'm planning a spring project where I am going to make a new aluminium floor panel, with wood slats & a spare tire mount, just not sure about how to handle the rear plastic side sections. Was thinking about cutting them down, keeping the speaker areas, and top sections, while pulling the seatbelts out and fabricating some flat, diamond stichted vinyl convered panels to cover the parts I cut out.
same thing, just a different variation....I think the B pillars were the hardest, complete PITA.

thanks for the inspiration to get my project going. I had been "working on it" for months before you all posted up this thread...finally got around to the first part, head liner and pillars.
