I have enjoyed the organization of my "boot box"for several months.Recently I was complaining about the AC to a fellow MCS owner,he told me the boot box impeeds the air flow on an MCS.Any comments

There are vents in the rear of the boot. If you feel just below the lip of the boot opening, you'll find some foam covering the vents. The boot box can block these vents. If the vents are blocked, it makes it much harder for any air to circulate through the vehicle.

A stop-gap measure has been to place a piece of wood under the boot box in order to raise it up so that air can get to the vents.
