In the MINI spirit of personalization many of us feel the need to plaster our rear windows with decals and bumper stickers from various vendors. Lets see yours!
what does the actual size sticker mean?
and what M products are on your car?
Forgive me if I get this wrong, but I believe the Actual Size thing started as some gut who went around sticking "Actual Size" stickers on MINIs. As people became aware of this, the stickers became desirable and everyone wanted them, so now you can buy them from various vendors. Just one of those things I guess. And as far as the M badge, thats just for show. I've seen people slap them on 328i's before, so at least I'm not pretending to be an M3. It would be phenomenal if there was a Cooper M though...
*EDIT
"The legendary Dragonslayer originated the Actual Size phenomenon by "tagging" unsuspecting Mini Cooper owners with the stickers. Aided by Aesthetic Creations he continued his quest to conquer as many Mini Coopers as possible on his journies. Soon word got out and he was flooded with requests for the sticker. Due to the overwhelming popularity of even a mail order system, the Dragonslayer has bequeathed distribution to Aesthetic Creations. Who will be tagged next? Only the Actual Size Bandit knows!"
I love watching people read the "actual size" decal when I'm stopped at a light. There's that moment when I'm watching in the rear-view, and the first person to see it taps the other in the car, smiles and points and I can see them mouth "Actual size". Love it.
Me too - I've got the brake light mask that lights up with "actual size" as well as the white sticker on either side window. I like watching people behind me have conversations about my car - most of the time it's favorable...and I"ve certainly improved my backwards lip-reading skills!
