There is a company called EdgeGuard which trims windshields with a material similar to a clear bra. They have a warranty and MINI is listed as an installed product.

When I had the clear bra done the installer (not MINI/OEM) added a strip around my windshield (no cost) to see how it would work.
Has anyone used this? Or do any of you consider this of value?
