The lever for the automatic has a release button, right? I haven't driven an automatic, nor looked at one closely. I'm told the old CVT auto had some sort of safety mechanism in the **** to prevent it from coming out of Park, or something. So, a **** for an automatic would be more difficult to make.

I think there were posts earlier this year that Whalen has developed a shift **** for the automatics.

Yes, there's a couple of threads in the mod forum about Whalen ***** for automatics. Currently, Doug Whalen is working on fixing a small problem with the fit for the custom *****.

Reminds me, I need to check in with him to see how he's coming along.

For I'm using a normal **** for my auto, you don't need to specific on buying a auto gear ****, all non-screw manual gear **** works for my R56. Need abit of strength to plug out the OEM gear **** and easily replace with any types.

I don't need the release button at all because without stepping on the brake, the shift will not move away from P.
