Stock Shifter Thread Size?

Anyone have any ideas on the fit and thread size of stock shifters?
I know its a fork looking shape thinge.. so no clue to me.

The stock shifter doesn't have threads - the **** is just held onto the end of the shifter by a friction-fit. I don't know the diameter of the shifter where the shift **** attaches, but many of the shift ***** that are held on by a set-screw come with different inserts to fit a wide variety of shaft diameters.

Well, the perfect answer would have included a plug for the most-excellent Whalen shift *****, but I figure other posters will cover that.

nice! thank you all..!!!

I'm trying to find an adapter for M12 x 1.25mm thread. is there is any.. adapter only really dont feel like shelling out 150 for alta ssk

i don't use whalen.

is your ****'s hole bigger or too loose on the shifter shaft?
If so, why not just wrap some e-tape on it until it is snug tight to
fit on the ****? (almost free. )

no no~
stock is friction fit, but the **** that I want is thread fit just wondering if they made adapters for em..
