Custom Vinyl Stripes...Opinion please

I am going to have vinyl stripes put on my MCS tomorrow. I just wanted to get opinions of what I decided to do. I wanted to go with something different than the normal stripes down the car.

Here is a photoshoped pic of what I want it to look like. Yes I know its my car and that is the only opinion that should matter, and it will in the end. So tell me what you guys think.

First off, I think it looks good (design and color choice). A couple questions, though. Do you have a sunroof? Are the stripes going to continue all the way across the roof and down the other side? If you do have a sunroof, I think it will look great, as the stripes on the roof will only travel for about 4 inches on the top until ending at the glass. If you don't have a sunroof, I'm not so sure if I'd like the two stripes running perpendicular to the length of the car on the roof.

Yeah I dont have a sunroof and I thought about the stripes looking strange running across the roof. I just wasnt sure if i was being paranoid. Do you think that it will still look good without the roof stripes? Or should I just scrap that whole stripe design?

Personally, I really like how the design transcends the window and continues onto the roof. I think if you made the stripes only on the quarter panel it would look goofy. Maybe try something like this below that way you still get the side profile of the stripes on the roof, but the top wouldn't look so weird.

Definitely do NOT do them across the roof.

And I have seen similar stripes on the side, but slanted, not straight up and down. I prefer them slanted.

Good luck. Whatever you decide, share the final product with us in the form of pics !

A suggestion: I would move the side stripes just slightly back, so the front one doesn't completely hit the door cut-out. I'd leave maybe an inch between the stripe and door cut-out. Having it go right to the door cut-out makes the stripes look "crammed in" to the space.

The slant would look natural, following the door lines and the implied "whoosh" of a MINI, even standing still. But here's to you-ification!

Eh, not a fan of the stripes on the side, but that's just my opinion. Go with it if you like it
