Interior/Exterior My freshly painted calipers
Did it myself with a G2 kit from tire rack and it was a brush on job. It is fairly simple to do. The only hard part was all the work, I had to do one wheel at a time because I did not have stands, only the jack. Took me about 4 hours.
I was wondering how much of the brakes you can see with the S-(not so)lites. Thanks for posting. I also have the White ones, and you definately cleaned those babies up!! They look like marshmellows
I did mine too, in blue. Cleaned them up with the spray cleaner in the kit, from a local custom shop and brushed the paint on. (for ants)

Very very nice- good job- You're hired!
Planning to do this myself but only after I add brake shoes and new slotted rotors.
Shelf life of the kit is 6 months and once you mix the paint you can apply it only with 56-70 degree temperature and all work needs to be completed within 6 hours.

I have a question too. I read the warning on the break cleaner and it says to not spray on any rubber components. And if you look at the breaks, there are plenty of little rubber pieces, that would be near impossible to mask. Did you just spray them, and not worry about it? Im guessing they just warn you incase of a problem. Your's look great, nice job.

I read the warning about the rubber parts, but sprayed away any ways. Not sure if it will cause a problem or not down the road. The rubber part are mostly on the backside and I didn't give them a good shot of the stuff. I think maybe they are worried about them drying out or cracking with the use of the cleaner.
Looks sharp! I keep debating on whether to do this or not...as I have seen some owners get flamed for doing it the ghetto way and not having the $$$ to get Brembos or a "real" big brake kit (this was on an M3 board) I just can't decide on a color...
>>Nice job and good looking!!

>>Will the paint withstand high temperature from braking? How long would the paint color lasts before it changes due to heat? Can someone share their experience ?
Depends on your application. If you are into tracking or auto-xing your car, then chances are your brake calipers could get hot enough to effect the paint. Even professionally powder-coated stock calipers will burn after an aggressive track day.
If the above doesn't apply to you, the color will remain the same for a long time. Even with weekend canyon/fun-runs, the color will remain very durable.
I've painted three cars' calipers in the last 5 years, two with G2 brake caliper paint, and one with hi-temp engine spray paint. G2 is definitely the way to go in terms of color and appearance. It seems to maintain its glossy finish better than the hi-temp engine paint. The engine paint sort of flattens out over time and gets dull rather quickly.
G2 Pros: Nice glossy durable finish.
Engine Spray Paint: Cheaper and easier than G2.

I have been thinking about doing this for quite some time now and you have convinced me to go ahead, thanks!
The red calipers will really stand out on my new wheels and tires from Tire Rack expected to arrive here this week: 17" OZ Crono Evolutions with Yoko AVS ES100's.
This will be a fun Mini week, thanks Rockepop!

Ok, I've been meaning to post this for a while, but got lazy with tracking down the number and code.
A while back, the S2000 club had a group buy deal going with G2 for paint kits. Price was $35.50 shipped (via ground) in the continental U.S. Turns out that G2 is still honoring the S2000 group buy price. Just call G2 directly at 1-877-G2LEADS. Tell them you want to order the paint kit at the special S2000 group buy price. They'll ask you for the group buy code. It's S2K0902
Happy painting!
