anyone know the dimensions of the little spot under the toggles for the windows and locks of the car? where the Aux in put is. im thinking about getting another base for my zen vision and just afixing it there. mabye just some velcro or something but i was just wondering the width and height of the spot under the toggles. im picking my car up on monday and this idea popped into my head and personally its one less thing i want to think about that has to do with the mini. the wait is already driving me crazy.

 

oh one thing that i forgot to mention was that if it didnt inconvience anyone if they would run to thier mini mabye with a ruler, that'd be great, my plans fell thru so im going to be here awhile, plus a chance to see your mini one more time tonight should be a worthwhile trip for any mini driver.- thanks.

hey peter314... not sure about the clearance on the R56 (I have an R52) but I do have the Zen Vision:M. Is that the one you have? I picked up the MINI-Fini cup-holder and I have it mounted under the MINI cup holder on the passenger side downtube. I simply connect it to the AUX and drop the Zen in the holder. I picked up the wired remote for the Zen and it was a big help on my recent trips.

I don't have room in the cubby, especially if I have to use the cig lighter splitter for the V1, GPS and Zen charger .

 

nah i got the original zen vision, not the M, and not the new W i was hoping to put it right in the spot near the aux port with the base and have it sit upright and almost look intigrated into the car (not very but more than the zen in the cup holder) but alas the zen its self is too wide to fit in the spot, so the base wouldnt fit either. oh well, i'v been useing Mp3 cds any way, and ppl keep asking me if i have a mp3 player hooked into the car or if its a internal Hd.
