Aero Grill

Hey I was wondering if anyone has a picture of the aero grill instaled on the top and bottom on a 2002 Mini Cooper non s. I was wondering because the 2002 has those two chrome bumper things on the front. And where on the internet would you recomend buying the grill from thanks

the front 2 chrome pieces is like a bumper protecter right? if so i know wat you're talking about. i dunno if anyone has those along with the aero grill but you can either always take them off and paint them? o.O
but a good place to buy the aero grills would be from classic mini.
they're on the vendor list. you can contact them by phone or by email.
tell them you're from nam and they'll give you a discount.
i got my aero grills for $80 including shipping.

there you go. and remember. the bottom grill part for the upper bumper is quite a bit of work.

Or you can get the Aero grill in chrome: Check it out...

I've done it on my car, and it's a 2002 non S like yours; however, I did not choose the chrome inserts on the bumpers...

This grill is not a direct replacement, though... It's one of those "sticky" types, but with a little bit of modification, you can make it fit just nicely on the car. Here's a little how-to I did early when I first got the grill (scroll down to last post; link has more pics, too).

Just giving you another option... Not sure if you're a "chrome hater" like most, but since you have the chrome pieces on the bumper, that might work out nice.

Take care...
Leo.

Here's mine (Click for big pic)...

The bottom grille...I still need to figure out if I can paint that black without removing the bumper. And I got some bonnet stripes I'm gonna try to install in a few minutes.

I painted the bottom grill on mine, it was easy , but yeah you have to take the bumper off, but its not like its hard. I just finished putting my aero grill on too. That middle piece was a major pain in the rear

Removing the front bumper is real easy and takes about 5-10 minutes. If you need instructions I can post them on a webpage and post the link here.

That would be outstanding! Is it do-able for someone as non-mechanically-inclined as myself?

This will be the first mod I do to a car and also my first car
Nick

Thanks a ton

I've got a brand new set of 4 Altas and bracket available that I don't intend to use. If you are interested, PM me.
