I had my bonnet repainted two months ago after a bought with a sand cloud. Actually AAA replaced and repainted the whole front end and windshield. Central Coast Coopers did all the work and it looks like new again. Now that the paint is good and cured, I want to put on my new OEM bonnet stripes. I just need to know how far from the outside edge of the washer jets should the stripe be placed? I think the best way would be to measure across the middle of both jets to the stripe. The top and bottom can be lined up easy after I have that info.

I'm just spitballing here, but I think it's about .5inch. But don't take my word for that, I'll measure it when I go outside next.

I just remembered I don't have OEM stripes :-P. But I did just run out to measure and they are a bit under .5 inches off of the washer jets.

No problem, they look good at their current placement (image in sig). Hope you get the measurements you want soon so you can get the stripes on

 

Dang! I just took the stripes out of the boxes, they are white, they should be black. Gonna have to talk to Scott! Oh well, maybe i'll do it next weekend.
