Has anyone added the rear fog lights light the factory install. I didn't get them and now I think I want them. If there pre-wired and it looks like there is a cut out in the mesh, or no. I haven't actually seen my car yet.

 

I had the rear fog activated a few years ago at Scottsdale MINI. Seems like it was a little over $100. The installation of a new toggle bank was about all it took. There's only one fog light in the back.

 

I have an '05 cabrio that I added the oem rear fog light too myself. The light bulb and all was aless than $20, the dash switch panel that has to be replaced so you can turn it on was about $75 and it cost $55 to have the dealer program it so it would come on.

 

I guess I'll play a trick and just add the rear fog lamp.. No new switch panel, and no $50 fee... Now, where should I purchase from?:impatient

 

You can replace the rubber plug with a lamp and make it do something even without doing the whole rear fog thing. It only requires installing a wire jumper in the harness near the tail light.
