instructions for light install?

I just got my set of clear arc lights for my MCS,
and i was wondering if anybody has some more understandable directions on how to install?
I'm not really one to just go unscrew something and see if thats it (too scared and inexperienced )
thanx
-Matt

You mean wheel arch lites?

Wheel arch side lites?

If those - to get to the fronts I think you'll need to remove the front bumper cover. Two torx on the front - two bolts at upper corner of bumper cover in each wheel well and six or 8 screws along the bottom edge....don't forget to disconnect the dash temp sensor, turn sig wires, and these lites. ..... I know you can get to them this way....don't believe you can get to them w/out removing the cover...never tried.

You can get to the rears by loosening the plastic inner fender and pull/bend it out of the way. Then there are two fasteners on each lite/reflector (I had to relocate these when installing the mud guards)

I did mine (the lights in the wheel trim) by removing the first few screws of the wheel well (leave the tires on, just crank them really far in the opposite direction of the side you're working). This allows the trim piece to loosen up and then the light assembly pops right out and back in. Doing all 4 took me maybe 15 minutes.

Yes please dont listen to Capt bj, you do not need to remove the front bumper. I opted to take off the wheels but some people can do it without that. Just remove enough of the bolts on the fender liner to get access to the reflectors, there are 2 hex bolts that remove them. And make sure you unplug the light. Just a simple twist will loosen it then carefully pull. Then swap the new ones and reuse the nuts. You will need a red and orange bulb to replace them i used LEDs.

When I did mine the little speednuts that thread onto the plastic didn't work too well on about half the new plastic studs. Ended up having to stick mine in with a bit of black silicone sealant....seems to work OK. Will only be an issue if/when I have to replace them due to damage or ???
